St.Pete Day in Solidarity with African People

This event is a call to action to the white community to take a stand in solidarity with the black community’s struggle for genuine peace through social justice and reparations. Speaking at the event will be Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People’s Socialist Party, Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee, and Kundè Mwamvita, mother of Dominique Battle who was murdered by Pinellas County Sheriffs Dept. in March of 2016.

Gulfport Chefs Table

The first-ever Gulfport Chefs Table is a fundraiser for CASA and highlights Gulfport’s food scene and features the offerings of nine local restaurants and chefs. 

Each participating restaurant/chef has created a four-course menu ranging in price from $40 to $80 per person, plus tax. Prices include wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverage choices.  Participating restaurants are Backfin Blue Cafe, Boca Bay Grille, Fish Bar & Grill, Isabelle’s at the Peninsula Inn, Mangia Gourmet, Neptune Grille, O’Maddy’s, Pia’s Trattoria, and Smokin’ J’s BBQ.  Tables will be assembled end-to-end to accommodate diners, and each restaurant will decorate its section with white tablecloths, china and glassware. Full table service will be included.
