Among the topics covered will be lending discrimination, domestic violence and rights and responsibilities related to assistance animals.

The Tampa Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. in conjunction with The Crescent Foundation, Inc., will host the Annual George Selvie Classic Scholarship Fundraiser on April 26, 2014 at the University of South Florida Sycamore Field. The all-day, non-contact Tournament is for groups 16 to 18, and 18 and up. Registration fee is $25 per person, and tournament proceeds will benefit the Sigma Beta Club Scholarship Fund, Child Obesity and Scholarship Fund. Registration deadline is July 6th and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The tournament is expected to be sold out, so teams are encouraged to register early. The event is sponsored by the University of South Florida Collegiate Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, TECO Electric, Coca-Cola, and Tampa Bay Lightning. The tournament format is seven-on-seven with rosters comprised of a maximum of fourteen (14) players. All teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of three games during pool play in the tournament. The champions will receive trophy and a George Selvie autographed football helmet.

Global Teen Summit Audition

We are looking for 4-5 teenagers (14-17 years old) and one moderator (18-22 years old) to spearhead the show for a live and internet audience. We require that each teenager/moderator have knowledge of what teens care about on a local and global scale. Must be able to interact with live audience and through Skype, twitter, face book, instagram. Be able to interact with subject matter expert, research and prepare for show topic. Bring head shot and application to audition.

Moderator(18-22 years old) is expected to do all of the above as well as, keep conversation going and in line. Be able to take direction through an ear piece. Experience not necessary but preferred. Bring head shot and application to audition.
