This program will establish a means of open communication between teens and their parents so that the two of them can speak openly and clearly about topics such as sex, alcohol, drug, tobacco, nutrition, and other similar topics.  It will also provide both parents and teens with tools that help teens in avoiding risky. The education is provided to teens in English and to parents in Spanish through a 7 hour workshop and a 3 hours follow up booster session, each on a Saturday. The workshops are conducted by well trained experts in the field, all of the trainers are very well informed about the Hispanic community and know about the importance of the values and culture of our Latino families. Participation in this program is totally free, in fact,  both parents and teens get paid for their time.
