Protecting Our Votes, Preserving Our Voices’’ is the theme. The annual event brings together Florida's Black community with experts and leaders from across the state and nation. This year's gathering will focus on the ongoing attack on voting rights and recent moves to legalize voter suppression. There will be informative sessions on a variety of other issues that affect Florida’s communities. Workers, the unemployed, students, church groups, civic organizations, retirees, Greek-letter affiliates, and concerned citizens – the conference is for everyone.  The guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Ogletree, Jr., a ?Harvard Law professor and founding director of the? Charles Hamilton Institute for Race and Justice.
