Juvenile offender program working
August 17, 2012 - A program to keep first-time juvenile offenders out of Hillsborough County's criminal justice system recorded a 91 percent success rate after one year, county commissioners learned Thursday.
Between June 1, 2011, and May 31 of this year, 688 juvenile misdemeanor offenders entered the county's arrest avoidance program. Of that group, 626 successfully completed the program requirements and will not have an arrest record. Read more at tbo.com.
