Responsibilities include assessing DUI offenders using standardized criteria to determine risk of reoffending and patterns of alcohol or other substance abuse; case management of multiple offenders and ignition interlock users.  All training will be provided.  Applicant will be obligated to meet minimum requirements as required by state licensure (listed below): Candidates must meet the following minimum standards:  Bachelor’s degree in human services or nursing and 4000 hours of experience in mental health/rehabilitative direct client services or medical care specific to substance abuse.  A Master’s degree in human services, nursing or an M.D. may be substituted for 2000 hours of experience.  Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) status, Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Professional (CCJAP) status, or 14000 hours of experience in human services may be substituted for a degree not in human services, but shall not preclude the requirement of a Bachelor’s degree.  FMI: www.safety.org
