St. Petersburg Little Theatre presents Summer Camps 2010

St. Petersburg Little Theatre is now registering for the summer camp programs.  Each camp consists of daily classes in Acting, Voice and Dance, from area professionals in the Theatre Arts as well as rehearsals for a FULL LENGTH “Broadway” Musical production.  Each “Theatre Camp” will culminate in the production of a full-length musical play. The “Audition Workshop Camp” will culminate in a Musical Revue featuring “Scenes & Songs” as well as Monologues from favorite Broadway shows.  FMI: 727-866-2059.

Girls Gone Glam: Prom Dresses for Girls in Need

The Clearwater Main Library will host a program titled Girls Gone Glam, where girls can get a gently used or new prom dress for free, on Saturday, April 3.  Check-in is at 12:15 p.m.; event begins at 1 p.m.  Students should bring a student I.D. or an official school document with their name on it.  Limit one gown per student while supplies last.  The Clearwater Main Library is located at 100 N. Borderline Personality Disorder: Supporting Recovery Today and Tomorrow

Please join us at St. Petersburg College's EpiCenter in Clearwater on Friday, April 23 at 8:00 am for our latest conference.  Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a complex and serious mental illness. It's important for healthcare professionals to understand that BPD is also highly treatable. This one-day conference will provide an overview of evidence-based treatment and care practices that actively promote and encourage recovery.  Please arrive between 7:15PM - 7:45PM to sign-in. Summer Internship Program at Tuskegee University

The target group is rising junior and senior undergraduate students who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM fields), with emphasis on science and technology.  The program features 10 weeks of intensive research experiences in fields ranging from agriculture and animal sciences to epidemiology, cancer biology and infectious diseases.  The program also features peer mentoring, seminars, ethics workshops, and an Introduction to Research course for which they recieve 3 hours of college credit.  The students are reimbursed for travel and are paid $450.00 a week for each of the 10 weeks in the program. After-School Program Openings
