Part-Time Position Open

Pride Integrated Services, Pasco DUI is looking for a part-time evaluator to work in both the New Port Richey and Zephyrhills Office.  The applicant must minimally meet the following requirments " shall possess a minimum of a bachelors degree in human services, nursing or a a doctorate in medicine.  They shall possess a minimum of four thousand hours experience in mental health/rehabilitative direct client services or medical care specific to substance abuse. A master's degree in human services or medical care specific to substance abuse may be substituted for two thousand hours of experience. A certified addition professional status, a certified criminal just addiction professional status, or 14 thousand hours of experience in human services may be substitued for a degree that is not in human services, but shall not preclude the requirements for a minimum of a bachelors degree".  Bi-lingual preferred but not required. Associate's degree relating to the area of assignment. Two (2) years of related experience. Plans and implements Student Life and Leadership events for SPC Downtown. Coordinates with vendors to arrange for food, beverages, decorations and other materials. Produces the student newsletter and Activities Guide. Promotes various cultural and educational events planned for the campus. Organizes events such as the “New Student Open House” held each term. Prepares an estimate of event costs and submits estimates for administrative approval. Submits work orders for room set up and prepares requisitions and check requests for purchases. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and the ability to create PowerPoint presentations. Governor Crist Re-launches Gubernatorial Fellowship Web Site

Governor Charlie Crist today re-launched the Gubernatorial Fellows Web site and invited college and university students to apply for the 2010-11 Gubernatorial Fellows program.  Participation in the program provides Florida college and university students with firsthand, high-level experience and insight into how government operates. Established in 2004 and endowed by Al and Dawn Hoffman in 2005, the program gives Florida college and university students the unique opportunity to work alongside state government’s top staff for two semesters.

West Point Admissions Diversity Outreach

Psych Teaching/Research Position

The Department of PSYCHOLOGY at the UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA invites applications for a FT tenure track Assistant Professor with research interests related to health broadly defined.  The position starts in August 16, 2010 and salary is commensurate with qualifications; a Ph.D. is required. Three Assistant Professor Positions at USF

The Department of Mental Health Law and Policy is partnering with three campus departments to hire three faculty members: one with a joint appointment with the Department of Psychology (a 9-month appointment), one with a joint appointment with the Department of Criminology (a 12-month appointment), and one with a joint appointment with the College of Public Health's Department of Community and Family Health (a 12-month appointment). Tampa Bay Community Cancer Network is seeking an English/Spanish bilingual research project coordinator who will assist in participant recruitment, conduct in-depth interviews, transcribe interviews, conduct medical record reviews, enter data, regulatory reporting, as well as maintain accrual and complete records and informed consent forms. Must have bachelor’s degree in public health, health communications, anthropology, psychology, or related field with research experience and strong organizational skills. Position requires solid knowledge of mixed research methodologies as well as a detailoriented approach. Must have experience with and enthusiasm for working with diverse and multicultural research participants as well as community-based organizations.
