Career Opportunity-Community Relations Specialist

Family Resources a non-profit organization is seeking a part time (20 hrs/wk) Community Relations Specialist to create an annual communications plan that will generate commitment from the community and maximize opportunities for public relations, marketing, outreach and advocacy. A Bachelor’s degree in business, communication or directly related field is required. Honor Your Youth Volunteer

Each year, Soroptimist International of Upper Pinellas County honors a female high school youth who is doing great things for others through volunteering with a local charity. If you know of a teenage volunteer, we would like to invite her compete for our Violet Richardson Award.   
The competition requires that the student complete and submit an application.  Entries must be received by Marsha McGrath on or before November 15, 2009 at mmcgrath9@tampabay.rr.com .  The award includes dinner with our Soroptimist Club, speaking to the membership about her experiences as a volunteer, and an award of $100.00 both for the volunteer and for the organization where she has volunteered. 2010 Burger King Scholars Program
