RFP - Community Association Management Services RFP 005-13
The Tampa Port Authority (TPA) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified local community association management firms to manage Port Ybor Association, Inc.
All interested firms will obtain a copy of the RFP Instructions and Submittal Documents and submit a completed response to the Tampa Port Authority, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Submittals are due by 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 when all proposals received will be publicly opened and read aloud. TPA will hold A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the First Floor Board Room at the Tampa Port Authority at above address. TPA will only accept proposals submitted by firms participating in the conference. RFP Submittals shall include a letter indicating the Firm’s interest and completion of the RFP Documents, including a Vendor’s Questionnaire. Firms failing to submit the required RFP Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFP. OJJDP Announces FY 2013 Funding Opportunity for Family Drug Courts
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has announced the following funding opportunity: FY 2013 Family Drug Court Programs. This program builds the capacity of states, state and local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized tribal governments to either implement new drug courts or enhance pre-existing drug courts for individuals with substance abuse disorders or substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, including histories of trauma, who are involved with the family dependency court as a result of child abuse, neglect, and other parenting issues. Part Time Chaplain Position

This position will be for a 10 hour per week duty shift on weekends with a pay of $19.57 per hour rate. They will be expected to work 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday. United Way Needs Volunteers to Help With Greeting/Intake at Free Tax sites
United Way Suncoast is seeking volunteers to assist with greeting and intake services at several of our Virtual VITA free tax intake sites. Virtual VITA is a new way of offering free tax preparation services that makes it easier for more people to take advantage of them. There are two essential components that must be in place for this to work- the preparation site and the intake sites. And in order for an intake site to operate, they must have volunteers who can provide assistance to taxpayers at that site with everything from completing the necessary intake forms to uploading and sending documents to logging in to the computer and accessing the virtual meeting. We have several intake sites in the Tampa Bay area, and they are in need of volunteers to help with this program. Volunteers do not need to be VITA certified, as they won’t actually be preparing tax returns at the intake sites. They do need to be available during the day, however, as our hours of operation will be Tuesday-Friday between 8:30AM-4PM. Two of the intake sites are in Pinellas County- one in St. Pete and one in Largo- and the other is in Tampa. Immediate Job Opening for Person with Disabilities
The Louise Graham Regeneration Center (LGRC) seeks to hire a lead production worker for its newspaper and cardboard recycling center located at 2301 3rd Avenue South, St. Petersburg. Preference will be given to a reliable individual who has any kind of disability who can perform the essential functions of the job. The position is 30-40 hours per week and pays minimum wage. Applicants need to know the work is in a non-air conditioned warehouse that can get quite hot in the summer. This is a hands-on working position that involves sorting large quantities of newspaper and cardboard for baling, and directing the work flow of up to four part-time employees with developmental disabilities. The lead production worker will learn to use balers and other industrial equipment, and also is expected to learn to drive a front-end loader and fork lift. All training will be provided and no experience is needed. LGRC is an Adult Day Training Program for adults with developmental and other significant disabilities. This position does not require enrollment in ADT, nor does the individual need to have a developmental disability. The employee must undergo pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
